Hugo's Deli

By far the best fries I've ever had. Sandwiches are fantastic, generous portions. My only complaint is the lack of a flat top/sandwich press.

Great fresh food from meat, veggies and bread. Sandwich was delicious. Service was friendly.

From the food to the service, it's a refreshing stop every time. Fantastic place. You're missing out if you don't try it. The also have a bunch of old school soda.

I've been eating here since around when they opened. (Yes, I may be THAT old). I've been ordering the same sandwich since then, as well. (I try others... but I just can't find a better pastrami sandwich in town.) Their fries are delicious. They are not normal fries, and pretty much everyone orders them. Sometimes the service is a little on the questionable side, but for the most part it doesn't detract from the establishment.

For google: lots of variety, fabulous in-house made coleslaw.  Only complaint: sourdough roll was a little dry. Overall good!

The staff was really nice and quick!!! The food was yummy but I think it's a bit overpriced and the French fry portions are very small. Overall it's a good place and I would go back!

The girls at Hugo's treat me like family everytime I go in for lunch. The food is made with love and is always way more than I can eat in portion which is amazing. Definitely the best sandwhich place in all the Treasure Valley.

The fries and finger steaks are to die for

Hugo's offers a variety of sub style sandwiches with their own personal flair. My personal favorite is the "Hogaholic". Every time I dine at the Fairview location it's, friendly service and fresh food! This place is my preferred shop if I'm craving a deli sandwich. Their house made fries are delicious, with plenty of other side options if that isn't what you're into.

Five mile and Overland location is the best!

Had a wonderful Reuben sandwich for lunch and my friend had a Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich. Both were great!

For one drink and a sandwich was over $10. I've never had a Hugo sandwich before. It tasted fine, not $10 fine. I prefer to watch my sandwich being made. Nice help.

I love the Pilgrim on sourdough and the deli fries. Definitely one of my favorite sandwiches in town. Service is always friendly.4/19/18 I’m back for the Pilgrim again, the biggest fries ever, coconut water and picked up a local honey from Pine, Idaho. Yum!

Been coming for probably 25 years. I get the Wartman. My wife liked her turkey sandwich and really liked the French roll.

This is a great deli and sandwich shop! They have a fantastic BLT, French Dip, Grinders, and Subs. Or grab some chicken or potato wedges. Everyone is polite and friendly and food is made very quickly. Lots of Idaho local products available as well.

.. I haven't been there for years. Im saddened that was the case after eating there today. So fresh, so good. Amazing food and service. Best fries in the city. Go and enjoy

It would be difficult to find a better sandwich in Boise! Hugs will build you an amazing sandwich just as you might dream, and their fries are to die for! Fast and friendly service and reasonable prices.

The fries, are, amazing! My husband eats here at least once a week for lunch and he finally took me to Hugo’s for the first time a few months ago. Everything is fresh, delicious and unique to Hugo’s. We just wish there was one is Caldwell so we didn’t have to drive to Boise.
